Dr. Mia Nuñez is the Director of Clinical Integrity and the Director of Continuing Education for NOCD and a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Nuñez oversees the NOCD network of clinicians and ensures clients receive high-quality psychological services. Dr. Nuñez has extensive experience with OCD, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders.

Dr. Nuñez received specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy from Northwestern University's Anxiety Disorders Treatment Clinic. She was also a member of Northwestern University's Anxiety Laboratory and the Anxiety and Panic Laboratory at the Family Institute at Northwestern University. She continued to build her expertise in the cognitive-behavioral treatment of mood and anxiety disorders during her predoctoral psychology internship at the APPIC-accredited Rogers Behavioral Health Hospital.

Dr. Nuñez has worked as a supervising psychologist for several inpatient and residential specialty programs, including a child and adolescent service line for complex OCD, anxiety, and eating disorders. As a supervising psychologist, Dr. Nuñez supervised therapists in their delivery of exposure therapy for treatment of OCD, anxiety, and eating disorders. She also personally provided exposure therapy for complex cases. Dr. Nuñez has been an instructor for many continuing education courses.. She has published peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at conferences on these topics. Dr. Nuñez is a published author and contributor to research.
