Dr. Patrick B. McGrath, PhD, is the Chief Clinical Officer for NOCD and a licensed clinical psychologist.  Dr. McGrath specializes in treatment for anxiety, OCD, hoarding, school refusal, and trauma.  He has given hundreds of presentations on these topics at local, national, and international conferences, as well as at universities, hospitals, and private practices.  Dr. McGrath is also an experienced continuing education instructor.  

Dr. McGrath earned his doctoral degree from Northern Illinois University and completed his two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute’s Anxiety Disorders Center.  

Dr. McGrath previously opened and led the AMITA Health’s OCD and Related Anxiety Disorders Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospital, and Residential Treatment Programs.  He has extensive clinical experience working with and providing supervision for complex OCD cases.  He currently provides weekly consultation at NOCD for OCD, hoarding, and other anxiety-related cases to a national network of clinicians.  

Dr. McGrath is a member of the Scientific and Clinical Advisory Boards of the International OCD Foundation.  He is a Fellow of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Immediate Past President of OCD Midwest.  Dr. McGrath also provided his expertise in OCD and anxiety disorders as a therapist on the Discovery Health Channel's documentary Anxious.

Jamie Feusner, MD, Diplomate, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, is NOCD’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Feusner is involved in general oversight of the treatment being delivered by NOCD and how providers are trained; clinical leadership and management; measuring, monitoring, and reporting clinical outcomes; and clinical innovation research. He has expertise in the psychological and pharmacological treatment of OCD and related disorders.

Dr. Feusner obtained his medical degree and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of California Los Angeles. He then completed a one-year clinical psychopharmacology fellowship followed by a two-year National Institute of Mental Health research fellowship. He is also a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, Clinician Scientist at the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health, and Adjunct Professor at the Karolinska Institute. He previously directed UCLA’s OCD Intensive Treatment Program for 15 years.

Dr. Feusner is an experienced teacher and researcher. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, and lectures nationally & internationally on the topics of OCD, BDD, and eating disorders. Dr. Feusner currently resides on the Board of Directors of the International College of Obsessive Compulsive Spectrum Disorders and the IOCDF Clinical & Scientific Advisory Board
