June 16, 2026
WITH MIA NUÑEZ, PhD
& HILARY STEIN, MSW, LCSW

Course Description

This introductory-level course prepares clinicians to recognize and describe Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) within general clinical practice. Clinicians will be presented with a review of DSM-5-TR criteria for ARFID, along with relevant epidemiological information. The course concludes with a brief introduction to evidence-based treatment options for ARFID. Core concepts will be reinforced through the use of clinical vignettes illustrating a range of ARFID presentations.
